Beginning guitar ensemble course is designed for students with no previous guitar experience. Students will be introduced to the classical guitar and receive guidance and direction in learning different strumming styles, skills, and the necessary techniques to become a successful guitarist. We will be concentrating on areas such as proper posture, knowing the parts of a guitar, note reading, finger picking, chord study, and performance. Students can expect to stay in beginning guitar for 1 to 2 years or audition for Intermediate Guitar Ensemble.
