Students TK (4 1/2 yrs) to Kindergarten will explore music in a fun and interactive way. They are introduced to the Kodaly method, along with elements of Orff, to learn rhythm, basic music theory, and hand-signs to put the elements of music together. They will explore the orchestra and use handheld instruments as they participate in the great wide world of music.
We are launching a new element to this fun and interactive class, hands-on intro to keyboard. Intro to Music class has been updated and is designed for parent to assist child. This will ensure that as the instructor is leading the class the child is understanding the concepts of the various music elements that are being taught.
Class day and time is subject to change as we adjust to the needs of the program.
Participants must be entering grades kindergarten.
