This program will launch students from zero experience to students who have learned to read music, perform at a basic level and continue to grow in the mastery of their instrument. This class is for those who wish to start an instrument or continue to grow.
This will be a live virtual class. Students will also submit recordings of them playing and receive a personal teacher video with critique and tips.
Band instruments include: bassoon, clarinet, flute, oboe, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion and more!
Equipment Needed: Instrument, portable black music stand, and own instrument cleaning and maintenance items.
Students should bring a pencil to class. Method book will be provided and pickup time will be given one week prior to class starting.
Prerequisite: No previous experience is needed. For student in Grade 5+.
Participants must be entering grades 5 to 12.
